Anne Robertson

Anne is a professor of ecology at the University of Roehampton in London. Water ecosystems are in the centre of her research and teaching, including topics like freshwater biodiversity- and in particular the biodiversity of groundwaters, the impact on freshwater ecosystems of disturbances such as climate change and emerging contaminants including microplastics, and monitoring and conservation of groundwater ecosystems.

Ash Goddard

Ash is an experienced workshop facilitator and climate educator. He is Director of Climate Clarity whose mission is to raise awareness and empowerment around the climate and ecological crisis using mainly Climate Fresk workshops, and any other tools that effectively facilitate change. He has delivered workshops to nearly 2000 people, and has personally trained over 600 facilitators. He has made it his mission to get as many people as possible skilled up and empowered to act on the climate crisis. Before this role he was volunteering in the climate movement and activist spaces after working as a technical business analyst. This followed on from engineering contracting after time spent studying for an Aerospace Engineering degree.

Attila Schillinger

Benedek Jávor

Benedek is a Hungarian biologist, environmentalist and green politician. Currently he is Head of the Representation of Budapest to the EU. Between 2014-2019 he was Member of the European Parliament,( and the first vice-chair of the Committee for Environment, Public Health and Food Safety; green coordinator and substitute member of the Committee of  Industry, Research and Energy; as well as the Budgetary Control Committee.) and focused on climate-, environmental and energy-policy, anti-corruption policy and Roma inclusion during his term there. Previously he was also member of the Hungarian National Assembly and one of the founding green politicians of the country. He was a founding member of the environmental NGO Védegylet (Protect the Future!) and holds a PhD in biology.  Benedek is the author of several articles and publications on environmental threats, ‘going green’, energy policy, the rule of law and the future of Earth.

Chitzi Ogbumgbada

Chitzi Ogbumgbada is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Exeter, with a PhD in Law from the University of Strathclyde, an LLM in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Aberdeen, and an LLB from Rivers State University. His PhD thesis developed an African communitarian approach to global energy justice and demonstrated how this approach could be operationalised through international climate law and international human rights law to address renewable energy injustices.  


His primary research interests lie at the intersection of international energy and environmental law and are mainly concerned with how legal obligations interact with issues like climate change, energy security, and clean energy. His current research project investigates the justice issues arising from the energy transition and how these can be conceptualised through the energy justice framework developed along African philosophy.
